If you’ve been searching for a senior photo location that feels genuinely Oregon without travelling too far, I have a spot you’re going to love. It’s got wide open views, beautiful green trees, grassy fields, and just about the best climbing tree in the world. It’s one of my family’s favorite places, and I’m so excited to share it with you. Some of my favorite sessions have been senior photos at Fitton Green in Corvallis, Oregon.

One of the questions I hear most often from seniors and their moms is, “Where should we shoot?” And I always like to recommend somewhere that has options. I like a location that gives us different vibes in one spot.
When you have variety in a single location, we can create a whole range of images that feel completely different from each other without driving all over the Willamette Valley between setups. That means more time actually shooting, and less time stressing about logistics.
Fitton Green Natural Area in Corvallis is exactly that kind of place.
When my boys were little, we used to hike a lot. It’s one of my favorite activities, but it’s not theirs. I could get them to go to Fitton Green though because it’s a pretty easy hike (you can also take the trail all the way to Bald Hill, but we’ve never done it). The gorgeous views aren’t too far from the parking lot, which is great news if you’re wrangling kids. Especially 4 energetic boys who had opinions about everything. And for senior photos it’s nice because we don’t have to lug your extra clothes up a mountain hike to create photos that look like you did.

Here’s what I love about Fitton Green specifically for senior photos near Corvallis:

If you’re a senior based in Corvallis, Albany, or anywhere in the surrounding Willamette Valley, Fitton Green is close enough to be convenient but beautiful enough to feel like a destination.
For seniors who want their photos to reflect a fun, outdoor-loving personality, this is the kind of location that helps tell that story.
Choosing where to shoot is honestly one of the most fun parts of planning your senior session, and I love helping you figure out what fits your personality and style.
If senior photos at Fitton Green sounds like your vibe, I’d love to hear about it. And if you have another Oregon outdoor spot you’ve been dreaming about, let’s talk. Finding the right location is part of making sure your senior photos feel like you.
